Navigation is limited in Moscow metropolitan region during World Cup 2018
Under the order of RF Transport Ministry dated 14 May 2018 (No 194) the ban on navigation of private yachts, leisure boats, party ships, cargo vessels and other crafts in the Moscow Basin covers the water area adjoining the locations of mundial matches locations – Luzhniki and Spartak stadiums, says press center of Moscow Canal.
On 14, 17, 20, 26 June and on 1, 11, 15 July 2018 between 12:00 and 24:00 (local time) vessels are not allowed to stay in the water area of the Moskva river near the Luzhnetskaya embankment between the Berezhkovsky and Novoandreyevsky bridges. On 16, 19, 23, 27 June and on 3 July between 12:00 and 24:00 (local time) – in the water area of the Moskva river between the Spassky and Stroginsky bridges as well as on the Moscow Canal between the Moskva river and the Skhodninsky canal.
Navigation will be only allowed for vessels servicing the World Cup events, ensure transport security and provide emergency medical services.
