Multipurpose Reloading Complex handled 2.51 million tonnes of cargo in H1’2018
In the first half of 2018, OOO Multipurpose Reloading Complex (MRC, a company of UCL Holding) operating in the port of Ust-Luga (Lenigrad Region) handled 2.51 million tonnes of cargo, which is 10% less as compared with the same period of 2017.
According to the press release of MRC, the decrease should be attributed to the challenging ice situation in the water area of port Ust-Luga in the beginning of the year.
In the six-month period of the year the terminal handled 2.43 million tonnes of steam coal and 79,000 tonnes of petcoke. Average daily handling of railcars - 190 units, maximum handling of railcars – 316 units per day. Total handling of railcars in the reporting period – 34,394 units.
OOO Multipurpose Reloading Complex (MRC, a company of UCL Port, stevedoring division of the international transportation group UCL Holding) is a cargo terminal in the port of Ust-Luga, Leningrad Region, specializing in unloading, storage and loading of general and bulk cargoes. The main cargo is export power coal. In 2017, OOO MRC handled 5.5 million tonnes of cargo.
