UCL Holding’s MRA launches new project for Rosterminalugol employees retraining
Maritime Recruitment Agency LLC (MRA, part of UCL Holding) is launching an educational project for advance training of employees of Rosterminalugol (RTU, subsidiary of Port Management Company), the largest state-of-the-art coal handling facility in Russia’s European region.
The project is for retraining of 50 RTU workers under the 320-hour program "Fitter for repair and maintenance of material handling equipment". The retraining program was tailored to the needs of the client by the MRA Training Center and includes the theory and practice (hands-on) courses. The training stages will be held in the territory MRA in Ust-Luga port.
This educational project will last until the end of this autumn. Upon completion of the course At the end of the program, the RTU employees will undergo tests and receive qualification certificates.
Employees of the stevedoring company will be able to improve their skills performing maintenance and repair of specialized material handling machines and equipment: railcar thawing system, of tandem car dumpers, transfer tables, belt conveyors, stackers, reclaimers, ship loaders, manipulators, material handlers, crushers, water spray system, magnetic separators and other machines.
MRA specialists have trained employees of Roterminalugol under the programme “Labor protection in coal handling, the operation of the automated system of high-technology lifting, transporting and handling equipment”. The training course was held last December. At the same time MCA held a retraining course for RTU employees under the program "Dock engineer of a multiple skills crew for loading and unloading operations".

Automated Coal Transshipment Facility Phase II was commissioned in 2006 in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin. In 2016, Rosterminalugol became member of the holding OOO Port Management Company.
