AO Taganrog Sea Commercial Port (TagSCP, a company of UCL Holding), says it spent USD 32,400 under its social programme in the first half of 2018.
The bulk of the payments were made by compensations and financial assistance to employees in need. Besides, financial assistance was provided to unwed mothers, retired veteran workers and participants of the Great Patriotic War.
The port operator traditionally sponsored wellness activities, summer holidays for employees’ kids. The company purchased vouchers for children's health facilities on the Black Sea coast: Znaniye, Zhemchuzhina Rossiji, Niva, Chaika, Avtomobilist and to the sanatorium and health resort camp on the Azov Sea: Tsentr Mir. In addition, the port compensated employees’ expenses on preschool facilities.
In the run-up to Marine & Inland Transport Worker’s Day, TagSCP rewarded veterans and honored workers of port labour. Cash bonuses were also awarded to all the workers in the company in honor of the professional holiday.
