Yury Borisov appointed as head of RF Government’s Marine Board
Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has appointed the new Marine Board of RF Government. The Decree No1779-р dated 27 August 2018 is available at the official website for government information.
According to the document, the Marine Board will be headed by Duputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov who replaced Dmitry Rogozin.
The Marine Board includes Transport Minister Yevgeny Ditrikh, Minister of Natural Resources Dmitry Kobylkin, Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev, Russian Navy Commander-in-chief Vladimir Korolev. They will be deputies to the head of the Board.
The body also includes heads of the regions, representatives of ad hoc authorities, organizations and companies.
The Marine Board of RF Government was established in 2001 to meet the challenges of the national maritime policy. The Marine Board Presidium in charge of operational issues consists of representatives of federal ministries, heads of large shipbuilding holdings, oil&gas and transport companies as well as the head of Rosmorport and RF Navy Commander-in-chief.
