In January-August 2018, total sales of bunker fuel at the port of Vladivostok and its offshore terminals amounted to some 741,300 tonnes, up 62%, year-on-year (vs 458,000 tonnes), Administration of Seaports of Primorsky Territory and Eastern Arctic told IAA PortNews.
About one third of this volume was sold at the offshore terminals (eastern, western and internal), with the rest sold at the port.
In the reporting period, sales of heavy fuel oil totaled about 662,500 tonnes, fuel containing material – about 57,600 tonnes with diesel fuel accounting for the rest of the volume.
The number of bunkering operations increased from 2,278 to 2,404.
