In January-August 2018, Russian seaports handled 535.60 million tonnes of cargo (+3.4%, year-on-year) including 258.74 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+7.6%) and 276.86 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-0.1%), says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
Seaports of the Arctic basin handled 53.93 million tonnes (+ 10.8%) including 19.80 million tonnes of dry cargo (+3.6%) and 34.13 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+ 15.5 %).
Seaports of the Baltic Basin handled 162.63 million tonnes (-1.2%) including 72.18 million tonnes of dry cargo (+5.6%) and 90.45 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-6.1%).
Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea Basin handled 182.05 million tonnes (+5.3%) including 80.46 million tonnes of dry cargo (+10.9%) and 101.58 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+1.2%).
Seaports of the Caspian Basin handled 3.27 million tonnes (+36.2%) including 1.82 million tonnes of dry cargo (+6.6%) and 1.45 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (up 2-fold).
Seaports of the Far East Basin handled 133.73 million tonnes (+3.5%) including 84.49 million tonnes of dry cargo (+ 7.1%) and 49.24 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-2.2%).
