NIBULON Shipbuilding and Repair Yard has started constructing the fourth POSS-115 project tug. The first POSS-115 project tug (order No. 10028) is being prepared for launching. The shipbuilders are testing spaces for tightness; they are installing bottom and on-board fittings, painting the sea chest and ice box intended for receiving seawater which is used to cool the vessel's mechanisms in summer and winter. The main switchboard, main engines and diesel generators have been installed in the engine room.
The second POSS-115 project tug (order 10029): the first blocks of the strength hull have been installed on the building berth. Other sections are being produced.
The third POSS-115 project tug (order 10030): the specialists of the assembly and welding workshop continue forming sections of the vessel’s strength hull.
The company plans to increase its fleet up to 100 vessels in the next few years; it will reduce traffic loads on the roads due to redirection of cargoes to waterways.
