Royal IHC to tell about world’s first LNG-powered dredgers at II HES and Dredging Congress
Royal IHC will tell about the world’s first LNG-powered dredgers at the 2nd Hydraulic Engineering Structures and Dredging Congress.
Established in 1642, Royal IHC supplied more than 200 dredgers to its clients during the recent 5 year. In 2017, it delivered the trailing suction hopper dredgers (TSHD) Scheldt River (8,000m3) and Minerva (3,500m3) that can operate on LNG.
The company is currently completing the construction of TSHD Bonny River (15,000m3) running on LNG and the world’s most powerful cutter suction dredger Spartacus (44.180 kW), the first one to be powered by LNG.
The 2nd Hydraulic Engineering Structures and Dredging Congress will be held on 20 - 21 February 2019, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (Moscow). The Congress will include the 6th International Dredging Forum and the 2nd Technical Conference "Modern Solutions for Hydraulic Engineering".
