In January-April 2019, the port of Vyborg handled 275,500 tonnes of cargo (-34%, year-on-year), says Baltic Sea Ports Administration.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo fell by 35% to 248,200 tonnes including 112,800 tonnes of coal and coke (-49%) and 128,900 tonnes of mineral fertilizers (-8%).
Transshipment of general cargo grew by 9% to 21,100 tonnes including 3,200 tonnes of timber (-48%) and 17,500 tonnes of packaged cargo (+11%).
In 2018, the port of Vyborg handled 1.93 million tonnes of cargo (+25%, year-on-year).
