In January-May 2019, Russian seaports handled 339.63 million tonnes, 2.3% year-on-year, including 148.82 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (-5.1%) and 190.81 million tonnes liquid bulk cargo (+9.0%), says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
Seaports of the Arctic basin handled 43.31 million tonnes (+23.9%) including 12.3 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+5.9%) and 31.01 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+32.8%).
Seaports of the Baltic basin handled 108.11 million tonnes (+5.0%) including 45.95 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+1.9%) and 62.16 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+7.4%).
Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea basin handled 98.87 million tonnes (-11.2%) including 35.61 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (-27.6%) and 63.26 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+1.8%).
Seaports of the Caspian basin handled 2.92 million tonnes (+41.2%) including 1.05 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (-10.5%) and 1.87 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+109%).
Seaports of the Far East basin handled 86.42 million tonnes (+7.1%) including 53.9 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+8.1%) and 32.52 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+5.4%).
