NCSP Group reports that its consolidated cargo turnover for January-April 2019 increased by 0.3% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 47,636 thousand tons.
In January-April 2019, the liquid cargo handling at the NCSP Group terminals had an increase of 5.6% and amounted to 35,865 thousand tons.
In the reporting period, the bulk cargo handling at the NCSP Group terminals decreased by 27.5% and reached 4,401 thousand tons.
In January-April 2019, transshipment of general cargo at the NCSP Group terminals remained flat, year-on-year, at 5,005 thousand tons.
The volume of containers processed at the NCSP Group terminals in January-April 2019 amounted to 2.205 million tons or 228 thousand TEU, which was 5.7% higher in tons and 5.3% higher in TEU compared to the same period of 2018.
In January-April 2019, transshipment of other cargo at the NCSP Group terminals amounted to 160 thousand tons, which is a 56.7% decrease compared to the same period last year.
PJSC NCSP Group is the largest port operator in Russia by cargo turnover. Its controlling shareholder (62%) is PJSC Transneft.
NCSP Group is traded on Moscow Exchange (NMTP) and London Stock Exchange as GDRs (NCSP). NCSP Group's volumes totaled 140.2 million tons in 2018. NCSP Group consists of PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, LLC Primorsk Trade Port, LLC Novorossiysk Grain Terminal, JSC Novorossiysk Ship Repair Yard, JSC NCSP Fleet, JSC NLE, LLC IPP, Baltic Stevedore Company LLC (BSC LLC), and JSC SFP.
