In January-June 2019, Commercial Port of Vladivostok (CPV, part of FESCO Transportation Group) handled 5.6 million tonnes of cargo (+12.8%, year-on-year), the stevedoring company says in a press release.
In the reporting period, transshipment of general cargo grew by 3.5%, year-on-year, to 2.61 million tonnes, containerized cargo – by 14% to 283,800 TEUs, automobiles and special equipment – by 24% to 35,500 units.
During the first half of the year, the company handled 1,044 vessels, up 5%, year-on-year, and 97,100 rolling stock units, up 15%, year-on-year.
