Dredging at the seaway canal of Kaliningrad estimated at 30 million cbm

The scope of dredging at the seaway canal of Kaliningrad is estimated at 30 million cbm, IAA PortNews correspondent cites Andrey Moshkov, Deputy Director of FSUE Rosmorport’s North-West Basin Administration, as saying at the Baltic Transport Forum in Kaliningrad.

When speaking at the Forum, Andrey Rzhanov, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Development of Kaliningrad Region, explained that two alternative projects have been submitted to the Ministry: on construction of a deep-water port in Yantarny or Baltiysk and on dredging of a seaway canal to the depth of 16 meters.
