Astrakhan Shipbuilding Production Association (ASPA, United Shipbuilding Corporation) has launched a non-self-propelled pontoon of Project GRPN, says press center of United Shipbuilding Corporation.
According to the statement, the ship named ARK-21 was ordered by Mashpromlizing JSC with Ark Shipping Company acting as a lessee and a ship owner.
The pontoon has been built through cooperation of ASPA and Lotos shipyards within the cluster of Southern Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Center.
Non-self-propelled pontoon of Project GRPN is intended for transportation of mixed cargo on the deck by sea and IWW routes.
Key characteristics: LOA – 85.5 m, BOA – 16.5 m, depth – 4.5 m, unloaded displacement – 990.0 tonnes, load line displacement – 4,201 tonnes, load line draught – 3.11 m, cargo capacity – 3,000 tonnes.
ASPA JSC, construction division of Caspian Energy Group specializes in construction of technical facilities for offshore field development and commercial shipbuilding. ASPO comprises Astrakhan based shipyards: ASPO Main Yard, ASPO Site №3 and Lotos shipyard.
