Yevgeny Savkin appointed as General Director of Novyie Kommunalnyie Tehnologii in Ust-Luga port

Yevgeny Savkin has been appointed as General Director of Novyie Kommunalnyie Tehnologii LLC (NKT, port of Ust-Luga), the company told IAA PortNews.

NKT owns Yug-2 terminal at the port of Ust-Luga which specializes in transshipment of coal and mineral fertilizers. In 2018, the terminal handled about 5 million tonnes of cargo.

Yevgeny Savkin is a graduate of Saint-Petersburg University of Water Communications with specialization in Economics and Management, Ph.D. in Economics, Honored Worker of Marine Fleet. The experience of Yevgeny Savkin in transport sector exceeds 20 years during which he rose through the ranks from a mooring master and loading crewmember to the head of water transport company. From 2007, Yevgeny Savkin has been at the helm of  Port Fleet ZAO.
