Vympel Shipyard delivers Grachonok-class special purpose boat to Federal National Guard Troops Service

In early November 2019, Vympel Shipyard (Rybinsk, Yaroslavl Region based shipyard, part of the Kalashnikov Concern) delivered the Grachonok-class special purpose boat to the Federal National Guard Troops Service, the shipyard says in a press release.

The boat passed the shipyard’s trials and state tests having confirmed all the announced tactical and technical characteristics.

In the nearest future, the boat will be deployed for protection of strategic facilities in the Crimea.

The boat is designed to combat sabotage and terrorist threats. It is fitted with a state-of-the-art equipment for a wide range of tasks. The series numbers four ships of this design.
