In January-November 2019, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 2.593million tonnes of cargo (-7%, year-on-year), the Azov Sea Ports Administration told IAA PortNews.
In the reporting period transshipment of oil products grew by 18% to 718,000 tonnes. Meanwhile, transshipment of grain dropped by 16% to 1.135 million tonnes, coal – by 8% to 521,000 tonnes, ferrous metal – by 14% to 71,000 tonnes.
In the reporting period, exports climbed by 4% to 1.684 million tonnes, imports fell by 14% to 76,000 tonnes, short-sea traffic – by 22% to 833,000 tonnes.
In January-November 2019, the Harbour Master’s office of port Taganrog registered 671 arrivals and 648 departures including port fleet vessels versus 726 arrivals and 711 departures in January-November 2018.
