Throughput of port Shanghai (China) in 2M’20 fell by 18% to 68 million tonnes

In January-February 2020, port Shanghai (China) handled 68 million tonnes of cargo, down 18%, year-on-year. According to the port authority, container throughput of the port fell by 10.6% to 5.9 million TEUs.

In 2019, the port of Shanghai handled 538.31 million tonnes.
