Throughput of port Shanghai (China) in HI’20 fell by 15.6% to 235.5 million tonnes

In January-June 2020, port Shanghai (China) handled 235.5 million tonnes of cargo, down 15.6%, year-on-year. According to the port authority, container throughput of the port fell by 7% to 20 million TEUs.

In 2019, the port of Shanghai handled 538.31 million tonnes.
