Export of oil products via DTC-Vysotsk LUKOIL-II increased 9-fold in January-September 2006 to 6.7 million tons

Export of oil products via sea terminal of oil company LUKOIL in Vysotsk increased 9-fold in January-September 2006 (against year-on-year result) to 6.695 million tons. This information has been provided by the press service of LUKOIL North-West Oil Product LLC. The figure includes 0.64 million tons of heavy fuel oil exported over the reported period. Export of vacuum gas-oil amounted to 2.428 million tons that is 8 times as much as the year-on-year result. Export of diesel fuel increased 9.9-fold to 3.62 million tons. In September export of heavy fuel oil amounted to 0.244 million tons, vacuum gas-oil – 0.298 million tons (+2.2% against September 2005), diesel fuel – 0.499 million tons (+70.7%).

The construction of a terminal for oil and oil products transshipment started in August 2002 in Vysotsk. The first phase of Distribution-and-Transshipment Complex was opened in July 2004. Its capacity was 4.7 million tons. By the end of 2005 the terminal carried out transshipment of crude oil and vacuum gas-oil. The terminal’s second phase was put into operation in March 2005. In September of the current year the construction was completed after commissioning of the third phase of the terminal. DTC-Vysotsk is to reach its design capacity of 12.5 million tons per year late in 2006
