Director General of TransContainer OJSC Peotr Baskakov and Marketing Director of Estonian Railway JSC Rene Varek have signed a memorandum “On cooperation in transportation of containerized cargo by international railway routes across Russia and Estonia”, press center of of TransContainer reports. The document was signed at the 12th international exhibition “Trans-Russia - 2007” held in Moscow.
The parties intend to provide joint support to consignors, consignees and forwarders engaged in transportation of containerized cargo by international railway routes across Russia and Estonia and to develop transit transportation. TransContainer OJSC is to provide Estonian railways with necessary amount of wagons and containers as well as to form special container trains provided the volume of cargo is sufficient.
