Svitzer orders new battery-powered tug for Øresund Strait

Svitzer has placed an order for a new battery-powered tug with Sanmar A.S., according to the company's release.

This environmentally friendly vessel, boasting a 1,818 kWh battery capacity, will be delivered in the second half of 2025 and will join Svitzer's fleet operating in the Øresund Strait between Sweden and Denmark.
