Purus has announced the commencement of steel cutting for a new 45,000 cubic meter (cbm) medium gas carrier (MGC) at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in South Korea.
This vessel is designed to transport ammonia, a key fuel in the transition towards a low-carbon energy future.
The newbuild is expected to be delivered to Purus in 2026.
