  MOL extends marine training programme in Vietnam

  

  MOL has established a special class in the Vietnam Maritime University and the University of Transport in Ho Chi Minh City to train crew in the arts of fostering safer and more efficient vessel operations.

  Some 62 students are enrolled in the MOL classes, taking courses that include practical education and training on MOL vessels as well as maritime English for selected students.

  This is one of many company classes at maritime universities around the world, said a company statement.

  MOL considers Vietnam to be a key source for seamen and recruits and trains Vietnamese for service on its vessels.
