THE Thai unit of Swiss logistics firm Kuehne + Nagel has received the coveted "Outstanding Enterprise in Labour Welfare" accolade for the second year in a row.
At a celebration ceremony held in Bangkok, Jens Drewes, managing director of Kuehne + Nagel in Thailand, was presented with the award by the country's labour department.
A company statement said Kuehne + Nagel was the only logistics provider chosen among thousands of companies in the country, underlining its achievements in maintaining a well-balanced human resources strategy.
"We are very proud to receive this award for the second consecutive year. The systematic development and training of employees as well as the long-term retention of key performers are crucial to the company's success. Our staff are motivated to deliver top performance to our customers," Mr Drewes remarked.
Kuehne + Nagel Thailand operates at four locations in the kingdom with around 200 employees.
