JAPANESE transportation giant "K" Line and partner Gemartrans are restructuring their North Vietnam service, starting later this month.
The lines said in a statement that in order to better meet customer demand, Loop 1 of the newly upgraded service will use a 450-TEU vessel provided by "K" Line. The containership's rotation will be: Haiphong, Hong Kong, Haiphong.
Loop 2's slightly larger vessel at 500 TEU is operated by Gemartrans and will have the following port rotation: Haiphong, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Haiphong. "K" Line added in a statement that it intends to offer this dedicated service over the long term.
