RF President Vladimir Putin says it is necessary to develop large logistics centers on the basis of public-private partnership. According to PRIME-TASS, the idea was expressed Wednesday at a joint conference of the State Council presidium and the Maritime Board over the development of sea transport infrastructure. "It is necessary to develop railway and motor road infrastructure at both closest and remote approaches to Russia’s leading ports," Putin underlined. "Besides, all necessary conditions should be developed for cargo to be delivered in time and without any loss of quality. For that purpose, large logistics centers should be developed in compliance with the requirement of both Russian and foreign customers."
