Container throughput of the port of Klaipeda (Lithuania) up 32.8% in Q1 07, y-o-y

In January-March 2007, the port of Klaipeda handled 69.4 thou TEU (+32.8%, year-on-year), RZD-Partner reports. The second largest result among other Baltic ports was demonstrated by the port of Riga (Latvia) with 47.9 thou TEU (+7%). Then comes the port of Tallinn (Estonia) -  39.7 thou TEU (+11.4%). The port of Ventspils (Latvia) accounts for the forth largest result – 3.8 thou TEU (1.5-fold growth).
