NCC Container Terminal in the port of Iljichevsk ups throughput by 32% in Jan.-Apr. 07, y-o-y

In January-April 2007, container turnover of NCC Container Terminal in the port of Iljichevsk (Ukrtranscontainer, Ukraine) totaled 129,986 TEU (+32%, year-on-year), NCC’s press release reads. In April the terminal handled 31,909 TEU, or 18,696 units (+19.8%, year-on-year). Export amounted to 15,430 TEU, import – 16,479 TEU. Loaded/empty containers ratio makes 61.3% against 38.7% correspondingly.National Container Company (NCC) is the leading Russian operator of container terminals. Besides, NCC operates the project of Baltic Container Terminal in Ust-Luga and logistics center and container terminal Shushary in Leningrad region.

Iljichevsk container terminal (Ukraine) is one of the most modern container terminals in Ukraine with current capacity of 450,000 TEU and a perspective for expansion to 4 million TEU per year.
