FESCO to carry 9,000 tons of cargo for Navy Pacific Fleet of RF in 2007
FESCO (Far East Shipping Company) has won a tender for transportation of cargo to the ports and points of the Far East for Navy Pacific Fleet of RF (NPF). As the company’s press release stated earlier, Far East Shipping Company (basic company of FESCO Group) has for many years been the winner of such a tender. This year it is to transport about 9,000 tons of fuel and other cargo to the ports of Vladivostok, Vostochny, Amgu, Vanino, Magadan, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski and 22 port points of Primorje, Sakhalin and Kamchatka. The Ussuri vessel will be deployed for this task. The vessel was built in 2002 and undergone modernization in 2006. On December 2, 2006 the service of military transportations of NPF celebrated its 75-year anniversary. Throughout this period FESCO fleet participated in cargo transportation for NPF.
