    Zvezdochka shipyard (Russia) to open representative office in China

    Russian shipbuilding yard Zvezdochka (Severodvinsk) is going to open its representative office in China in the nearest future. Currently, Zvezdochka has a lot of contacts with China, in particular, within military-technical cooperation. “We are very interested not only in new orders but also in servicing of the vessels supplied”, - Nickolai Kiselev, Arkhangelsk region Governor said, according to PRIME-TASS. Our cooperation is constantly upgrading: earlier we were limited to defense industry orders and today we discuss joint projects in civil shipbuilding, he added. According to Yurij Sumkin, Russian company representative, Chinese side is very interested in our products and in repair of naval ships, mostly submarines built in Saint Petersburg and Nizhnij Novgorod.

    Federal State Unitary Enterprise Zvezdochka is the leading Russian shipyard located at Yagry island in Severodvinsk. It specializes in repair and modernization of submarines, naval and civil ships as well as other vessels of any class and purpose.
