SCI invites bids for two 5,000-TEU containerships
The Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has invited bids to supply two 5,000-TEU container vessel with an October 12 deadline.
SCI has already been given a government approval to procure the vessels, which must be suitable to enter US container terminals and ports and meet ISO standards for dry cargo containers of 20 feet, 40 feet and 45 feet length and of 8 feet 6 inches and 9 feet 6 inches high.
