Port of Riga services 332,421 passengers in Jan-Aug 07, y-o-y

In 8 months of 2007, port of Riga serviced 332.421 thousand passengers (+88.9% year-on-year), RZD-Partner reports.
This positive result was obtained due to the fact that Tallink Grupp started its work in the port. Besides DFDS Tor Line company provides regular cargo and passenger transportation to Stockholm and Lubeck.
In 2006, the port serviced 246.885 thousand passengers.
