Russia boosts export expectations

Russia's Economy Ministry expects export figures to reach $345bn by the end of 2007, Andrei Klepach, the head of the ministry's macroeconomic forecasting department, told a press conference today. He reiterated that earlier projections stood at $303.8bn. The forecasting department also raised import expectations from $203bn to $223.5bn.
