Slavneft-YANOS opens crude oil facilities complex

On October 23 Slavneft-YANOS has opened a crude oil facilities complex with storage capacity of 140 thou cubic meters of raw materials, Slavneft reports according to AK&M. The facilities include four 30,000 m3 reservoirs and two 10,000 m3 reservoirs. Besides, there are two 2,000 m3 reservoirs of a pump station and a fire water pump station. The complex is equipped with modern automatic foam fighting system designed for immediate localization of possible fires. The construction started in January 2005. General contractor of construction works was Koksokhimmontazh CJSC. The complex is linked with Transneft oil-pipe system by a new main 5.5 km long branch. On October 18 the reservoirs started to accept oil. Commissioning of the New complex considerably increases ecological safety of Slavneft-YANOS. All its facilities are equipped with systems completely excluding hydrocarbon emission.

Authorized capital of Slavneft oil-and-gas company amounts to 4754238 rubles divided into 4754238000 ordinary shares with a nominal value of 0.001 rubles each. ТNК-BP and Sibneft control almost 99% of Slavneft stock. From April 1 of the current year the company’s shareholders distribute all the oil produced by the company while the company itself is considered to be the production operator. Earlier the shareholders used to divide the company’s profit using it for dividend payment. The company’s sales under Russian Accounting Standards amounted in the first quarter 2006 to 24.2 billion rubles (+25% against year-on-year result). 1Q net profit decreased by 3.2 times to 914.4 billion ruble.
