LUKOIL's RAS net profit falls 42.5% in Q3 2006
LUKOIL said Tuesday its net profit calculated to Russian Accounting Standards fell in quarter 3 2006 by 42.5% against Q2 2006 amounting to 7.908 billion rubles, RBC reports. The company’s profit in April-June 2006 totaled 13.752 billion rubles. Q2 result decreased by a factor of 2 against Q1 result (in January-March the company’s profit totaled 29.424 billion rubles). LUKOIL attributed the lower figure to smaller revenue from its stakes in subsidiaries caused by distribution of 2005 profit between some subsidiaries in Q2 2006. At the same net profit decrease was compensated by gross profit growth, the company’s report says. LUKOIL’s authorized capital amounts to 21.264 million rubles divided into 850 million 563 thou 255 ordinary shares. 63.3% of the company’s shares are under nominal holding of ING Bank (Eurasia). About 17% of LUKOIL's shares belong to ConocoPhillips.
