Shenyang to build largest inland port logistics centre in northeast China
Northeast China inland city of Shenyang plans to invest CNY5 billion (US$685 million) on building the region's largest inland port logistics centre in its Shenbei New District, Logistics Week reported.
Covering 18.5 square kilometres and having a floor area of 9.5 million square metres, the facility will consist of a trade area, a processing area and a logistics area after completion in 2010. It will also offer sea-land intermodal service using the expressway connecting Shenyang to the Port of Yingkou.
