Qingdao Port ranks among world's top ten port

The fourth phase of Qingdao Port's Qianwan Port Area is now under construction and the first two berths will be completed and put into operations in June.
Upon completion of the project, Qingdao port's annual container throughput will exceed 14 million TEUs. Qingdao Port's container throughput hit 9.4 million TEUs in 2007, ranking among the world's top ten container ports for the first time.
