Throughput of Odessa port (Ukraine) up 32.3% in 2007 to 523,500 TEU

In 2007, the port of Odessa (Ukraine) handled 523,476 TEU (+32.3%, year-on-year), RZD-Partner reports. It corresponds to 4.473 million tonnes (21.3%, year-on-year) or to 325,987 units (+28.4%). Incoming/outgoing containers ratio was 53% against 47% respectively. The handling of loaded containers grew by 22.5% to 315,000 TEU.
