Norway's TTS Marine ASA receives NOK60m shipyard equipment order
Norwegian ship and port equipment supplier TTS Marine ASA said on Monday (28 January) that its port and material handling subsidiary TTS Handling Systems AS has landed a NOK60m order from China Shipbuilding & Offshore International Co Ltd.
The order covers the delivery of panel production line to increase the welding capacity at Shanhaiguan New Shipbuilding Industry Co Ltd.
The equipment will be delivered during spring 2009.
TTS Marine, headquartered in Bergen in Norway, is a global developer and supplier of ship and shipyard equipment. The group has some 800 employees worldwide and has annual sales of approximately NOK1.6bn. TTS Marine is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and traded under the ticker TTS.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 10.78 Norwegian kroner (NOK).
