Wisdom Marine Lines S.A. has already been working together with GL for several years. The company was founded in 1999 with headquarters based in Taipei. Wisdom Marine Lines S.A. has a fleet of 30 vessels and as many as 28 ships under construction. It has one of the youngest fleets in the region. The fleet includes panamax container vessels, handy-max and handy-size bulk carriers as well as multi-purpose ships.
The classification society Germanischer Lloyd conducts safety surveys on board of more than 6,600 ships with about 75 Mio GT.
