Pella (Leningrad region) to hand over Klasko-2 towboat to a Lithuanian plant, December, 2009

Towboat Klasko-2 (design16609), being built at Leningrad Shipyard Pella for АВ Klaipedos juru kroviniu kompanija (Klaipeda, Lithuania), is prepared to be handed over to the client. As per the press-service of the Russian enterprise, the vessel is prepared for sea trials to the moment. The towboat is scheduled for handing over in December current year.

It is worth mentioning Pella is constructing a range of towboats (design 16609) for Sovcomflot OJSC. Two vessels – Ratibot and Radomir have already been handed over.

Leningrad Shipyard Pella was founded in 1950. The company has 11 affiliates and branches, owns the territory of 16.5 ha and assets of RUR 476 mln. The company is a holding comprising a head and a controlling company, as well as a number of affiliates including OJSC Pella-Mach, Intro-Pella CJSC, NEMO CJSC, Aris LLC, Pella-Fjord OJSC, Promenergo LLC. Control stock of shares is held by CEO of the yard, Gerbert Tsaturov.
