Russian oil export via Primorsk port (Leningrad region) up by 1.5% in Jan.-Nov., 2009

Russian oil export volume via Primorsk port (Leningrad region) increased by 1.5% (to 68.3 mln tons) in January-November, 2009 as compared to the corresponding period of 2008, reported the stevedoring company occupied in oil transhipment in the port in the interview with PortNews IAA.

Primorsk Commercial Seaport LLC (PCSP, Leningrad region) is the largest Russian crude oil loading terminal specialized in crude oil export transhipment onto the marine tankers. The oil is pumped via the pipeline. The terminal is the end point of the Baltic pipeline system. In January-November, 2009 PCSP loaded 68.3 mln tons of Russian oil for export (+ 1.5% to the corresponding period of 2008). 683 tankers were received by the port within the reporting period.
