Export cargoes handled at about 352.1 million tons, which represent a 12% increase over the same period last year. These include: coal - 59 million tons (22.6%), ferrous metals - 25.2 million tons (11.1%), corn - 19.2 million tons (2.5 times more), ore - 3.8 million tons (by 2,3 times more), non-ferrous metals - 3.8 million tons (+7.3%), liquid bulk cargo - 210.4 million tons (9.3% ). Total deliveries of mineral fertilizers dropped by 20.7% to 8.9 million tons, timber cargo - by 36.5% to 5.4 million tons, of cargo in containers - on 6,5% to 7,6 million tons.
Transshipment of imported cargoes amounted to 24.8 million tons (-37.3%), including goods in containers - 11.5 million tons (-37.0%), general – 6.5 million tons (-44.3%).
Transit cargo transported through sea ports of Russia was up 15% to 41.1 million tons, over the same period last year (due to crude oil). Coasting transshipment increased in 1,3 times.
Operators of marine terminals of North-West Basin transshipped 204.6 million tons of cargo (+3.9%), of which liquid cargo amounted to 135.8 million tons (16.4%), dry - 68,8 million tons (-14.3%).
In the Big port of St. Petersburg the volumes of cargo transshipment in containers, fertilizers, general cargo decreased, at the port of Kaliningrad – of bulk and general cargo. Total turnover of the Big Port of St. Petersburg has declined 17.1% to 46.6 million tons, the port of Kaliningrad - by 21,6% to 11,2 million tons turnover of the port of Primorsk increased by 5,8% and amounted to 72, 3 million tons, the port of Murmansk on 32,1% to 34.2 million tons, the port of Visotsk - by 9,6% to 16 million tons, the port of Ust-Luga - by 48,8% to 9,2 million tons.
Ports of South Basin increased turnover by 13,5% to 165.1 million tons, including dry - by 29,1% to 58.8 million tons, liquid - on 6,4% to 106.3 million tons. Operators of marine terminals of Novorossiysk handled over 112.5 million tons (9.1%). Turnover at the Port of Tuapse fell by 6% to 16.8 million tons.
Ports of the Far East handled 84.3 million tons of cargo (+13.4%), of which 54.3 million tons (5.2%) were dry cargo and 30.0 million tons (32.0%), - liquid cargo. Stevedore companies increased turnover of at Vanino port 14.4% to 21.7 million tons, Nakhodka - by 3,3% to 14,5 million tons, Vladivostok - by 1,4% to 14.3 million tons, the company of the port of East reduced handling of cargo by 7,3% to 17,5 million tons.
Association of Sea Commercial Ports (ASCP) was founded in 1987 and unites more than 50 organizations and enterprises of maritime transport in Russia.
