Ukraine gains 12.4% in grain export this January, at 1.67 million tons

In January 2010 Ukraine increased grain exports by 12.4% compared with January 2009, up to 1.670.067 tons, making $255.20 m, the Transport Business reported citing a source the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers.

Meanwhile, as compared with last December’s figures the grain export in January 2010 shrank by 33.7%.

Earlier reports said that Ukraine’s grain export in 2009 totaled 25.745.03 tons of grain at $3.556.14.
