Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signed a decree (N2102-P) on November 27, 2010 approving the program of privatization of federal property and the main directions of the federal property privatization for 2011-2013. The document was posted today on the Russian government’s website.
Among the objects of the transport sector to be privatized in 2011-2013 is JSC Modern Commercial Fleet (50% minus 1 share). The government says the reduction of its stake in the company can be implemented before 2015 to 75%.
Also it is planned to privatize the federal government stakes in JSC Arkhangelsk Trawl Fleet, JSC Murmansk Marine Fishing Port, JSC Vostochny Port.
