Russian oil exports in 2010 decline by 0.6% to 246,8m tons

In 2010, crude oil exports from Russia shrank by 0.6% compared to 2009’s figure to 246,816,300 tons, the Russian Ministry of Energy statistics said. In absolute terms the decline was 1,492,800 tons.

In December 2010, Russia exported 21,281,500 tons of oil (-122,000 tons or a 0.6-percent drop from December 2009).

Oil and gas condensate output in 2010 increased by 2.2% compared with 2009 to 505,193,600 tons. In December, the oil and gas condensate production totaled 43,048,000 tons (+1.3% vs Dec, 2009’s figure).

Crude oil supplies to Russian refineries increased last year by 5.4% compared with 2009 to 248,578,000 tons, including December volume – 21,282,600 tons (+4.1%). The volume of preliminary distillation of crude oil at the refineries also increased by 5.6% to 248,727,000 tons, in December  - by 5.4% to 21,573,100 tons.
