New appointment at Rosmorport’s Murmansk branch
Vladimir Parkhomenko, has been appointed Acting Director of the Murmansk branch of Rosmorport, effective Jan. 12, 2011, Posmorport’s press service said. Earlier, Mr. Pakhomenko was the Deputy Director of Development department of the branch.
Vladimir V. Parkhomenko was born on June 30, 1953. In 1972 Mr. Pakhomenko graduated from the Leningrad Maritime School of the Ministry of the Navy majoring in marine navigation. In 1990 he graduated from the Leningrad Higher Marine Engineering College of Adm. Makarov, majoring in "Navigation on the sea lanes". He began his career in 1973.
From February 2005 to February 2008 he headed the safety of navigation service, the Deputy Director of shipping of the Department of Safety of Navigation of Murmansk Shipping Company. From February 2008 to November 2010 he continued his career as the head of the department of certification and registration of ships of FSI Murmansk Shipping, Deputy Chief of Murmansk Shipping, the harbormaster. From December 2010 until recently Mr. Parkhomenko he held the office of Deputy Director of Development Department at the Murmansk branch of Rosmorport.
From February 2005 to February 2008 he headed the safety of navigation service, the Deputy Director of shipping of the Department of Safety of Navigation of Murmansk Shipping Company. From February 2008 to November 2010 he continued his career as the head of the department of certification and registration of ships of FSI Murmansk Shipping, Deputy Chief of Murmansk Shipping, the harbormaster. From December 2010 until recently Mr. Parkhomenko he held the office of Deputy Director of Development Department at the Murmansk branch of Rosmorport.
