Exports via Primorsk down 2% to 77,54m tons
Exports volume of crude oil and petroleum products through the port of Primorsk (Leningrad Region) from January through December 31, 2010 fell by 2% year-over-year, to 77,540,300 tons, the Big Port of St. Petersburg Port Authority’s statistics said.
Shipments of crude oil at the port of Primorsk in the reporting period amounted to 71 million 731.1 thousand tons, down 4.2% from a year earlier, while handled volume of diesel fuel surged by 36.1% to 5,809,200 tons.
In December, cargo throughput of Primorsk totaled 6,307,100 tons (-3.2% from 2009’s figure) and 521,700 tons of diesel fuel (+45.3%).
